Elina Svitolina Joins Sky Defense: UNITED24 Ambassador Will Give Away a Signed Ukrainian Flag As a Thank You For Protecting the Skies Over Her Homeland

To mark 4 years of being a UNITED24 Ambassador, Elina Svitolina, launches a fundraiser to help protect Ukrainian skies. 

Elina’s first project at Ukraine’s official fundraising platform was to help restore an apartment building in Irpin that was destroyed by a russian missile. Today, as russia continues to relentlessly shell Ukrainian homes on a daily basis, Svitolina steps up to help protect them from the new attacks. As a sign of gratitude, Ukraine’s most successful tennis player will gift a Ukrainian flag with her autograph to a donor of UNITED24’s Sky Defense campaign.

I have always taken pride in representing Ukrainian colors — on court and outside of it, doing everything in my power to make my country not only proud, but also safe. And I am grateful to everyone who joins me in doing this. I want to give this blue and yellow symbol of hope and resilience to one of you — for keeping the hope alive. For helping Ukraine stand.
